Basketball Recap: East Rowan Comes Up Short

East Rowan lost against West Rowan back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The East Rowan Mustangs took a 58-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Rowan Falcons. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

West Rowan got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Evan Kennedy out in front who posted 11 points and six assists. Another player making a difference was Josiah Young, who went 5-for-11 on his way to 10 points in addition to six rebounds and three blocks.

East Rowan's loss dropped their record down to 2-20. As for West Rowan, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 8-14 record this season.

East Rowan wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, an 87-59 defeat against A.L. Brown on the 12th. As for West Rowan, they have also already played their next game, a 62-60 loss against North Rowan on the 12th.
