The Garden Valley Wolverines won the last time they faced the Wilder Wildcats, and things went their way on Wednesday too. Garden Valley took down Wilder 41-23. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Garden Valley.
Garden Valley's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Aubree Zimmer, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 16 rebounds. Gabby Gillette was another key contributor, scoring 7 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals.
Garden Valley's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Wilder, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Garden Valley will be playing in front of their home fans against Tri-Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Wilder, they will head out on the road to face off against Horseshoe Bend at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
