Baseball Preview: Eastlake Titans vs. El Capitan Vaqueros

Everything went Eastlake's way against Otay Ranch on Tuesday as Eastlake made off with a 9-1 victory. With that win, Eastlake brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.

Noah Libed made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing an inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Libed was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-4.

In other pitching news, Eastlake got a great performance from Nick Romero as he tossed six innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Romero has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive pitching appearances.
