Soccer Recap: Douglas Takes a Loss

Douglas lost against Arab two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Douglas Eagles took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Arab Knights. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Guadalupe Negrete, who's now up to eight this season.

Douglas now has a losing record of 3-4-1. As for Arab, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Douglas will face off against Albertville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Arab, they have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Guntersville on the 8th.
