Basketball Recap: Englewood Stem Comes Up Short

Englewood Stem was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 51-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Northside Mustangs.

Englewood Stem's record now sits at 1-13. As for Northside, they moved to 7-12 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Englewood Stem has already played their next matchup (against Nazareth Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Northside didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 93-42 defeat against North Lawndale on the 21st.
