River Islands owes their defense a big pat on the back after their performance on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Riverbank Bruins 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Riptide.

River Islands' win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Riverbank, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-13.
