Football Recap: Foran Piles Up the Points Against East Haven

Foran won the last time they faced East Haven and things went their way on Friday too. The Lions simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Yellowjackets 41-8. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Lions considering their 13-point performance the game before.

Foran got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kyle Viesselman out in front who rushed for 50 yards and three TDs. An impressive showing, but Viesselman really ramped things up playing D: he made 12 total tackles (2.0 for loss) and defended one pass. Gavin Lafebree was another key player, rushing for 50 yards.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Foran proved: they limited East Haven to a paltry 2.1 yards per carry. The team can thank Viesselman for the heroic effort on defense: he. That's the most yards per carry they've posted since back in October of 2024.

The victory got Foran back to even at 1-1. As for East Haven, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
