Softball Recap: Owensboro Catholic Plays to a Tie

Neither the Owensboro Catholic Aces nor the Lyon County Lyons could gain the upper hand on Saturday so the two teams had to settle for a 4-4 tie.

Owensboro Catholic's draw gives them a new season record of 7-11-1. As for Lyon County, they moved theirs to 7-13-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Owensboro Catholic will square off against Evansville Memorial at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Aces' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 9.3 runs per game this season. As for Lyon County, they will face off against Hickman County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
