Softball Recap: Hoover Tornados vs. Marshall Eagles
Hoover took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Marshall Eagles as the Hoover Tornados made off with a 23-9 victory. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Evelyn Ortiz was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up just one earned (and eight unearned) runs off two hits.
