Volleyball Recap: Denmark Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Denmark lost against Alpharetta back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Denmark lost 3-0 to Alpharetta. Denmark has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Denmark ultimately came up short, they really made Alpharetta work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-17, 25-14.

Alpharetta can attribute much of their success to Kailey Leonard, who had 11 digs and two assists. That's the most digs Leonard has posted over her last eight contests.

Denmark's loss dropped their record down to 12-15. As for Alpharetta, the victory (which was their 23rd in a row) raised their record to 29-1.

Denmark will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on North Atlanta at 6:00 p.m. on October 2. As for Alpharetta, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Centennial at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
