Baseball Game Preview: Central of Clay County Volunteers vs. Jacksonville Golden Eagles

The Central of Clay County Volunteers will head out to take on the Jacksonville Golden Eagles at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Jacksonville took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Central of Clay County, who comes in off a win.

Central of Clay County is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 13-2 margin over Randolph County on Friday. The win was some much needed relief for the Volunteers as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Jacksonville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 7-2 to Springville.

Jacksonville's loss dropped their record down to 11-15. As for Central of Clay County, their victory bumped their record up to 7-9.
