Volleyball Recap: Paoli Comes Up Short

If Paoli was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Clarksville on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rams came up short against the Salem Lions on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Rams have struggled against the Lions recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Paoli was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-22, 25-15.

Kalyn Hannon paced Paoli's offense, picking up five kills. Hannon got some help from Maddie Vernon and her seven assists.

Paoli's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Salem, they pushed their record up to 6-6 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coming up, Paoli will challenge North Harrison at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Salem, they have already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Charlestown on the 13th.
