Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Midlothian turned things around against Clover Hill back in December of 2024. They came out on top against the Cavaliers by a score of 64-56.

Meanwhile, Albemarle ended the year with a bang, routing Western Branch 74-54 on Monday. The Patriots have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 20 points or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Albemarle and bumps their season record up to 7-2. As for Midlothian, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.
