After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Heritage Christian, Whitefield Academy was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top against the Cornerstone Family Saints by a score of 2-0. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Saints recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Whitefield Academy's win bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Cornerstone Family, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-15.

Whitefield Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cornerstone Family, they will challenge St. Xavier at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
