Southern had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They came out on top against the Federal Hocking Lancers by a score of 58-51. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 73-47 back in December of 2024.

Southern's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Federal Hocking, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southern will take on Wirt County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Federal Hocking, they will square off against Waterford at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
