While Clear Brook put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Clear Falls. The Wolverines walked away with a 4-0 victory over the Knights. The win continues a trend for the Wolverines in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won three in a row.

Trenton Flores made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over seven innings pitched. Flores was also big at the plate, scoring a run while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. That run was his first of the season.

Flores wasn't the only one making solid contact as two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Brady Tran, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. That stolen base marked the first that Tran snagged this season.

Clear Brook's victory bumped their record up to 10-14-2. As for Clear Falls, they dropped their record down to 4-17-1 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, Clear Brook and Clear Falls will both be playing Clear Lake the next time they take the field. The Wolverines will head out to face the Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Knights will host them at 6:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
