Basketball Recap: Lebanon Tigers vs. Clinton Central Bulldogs
Lebanon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 45-40 heartbreaker at the hands of the Clinton Central Bulldogs. The Tigers lost against the Bulldogs in their previous head to head back in December of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 60-34 score last time.

Several Tigers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Sophie Kyker, who went 5 for 9 on her way to 11 points and five rebounds. The dominant performance gave Kyker a new career-high in points. Jade Mount was another key player, putting up nine points and eight rebounds.
It was another big night for Carly Davison, who went 8 of 20 on her way to 21 points along with eight boards and five assists for Clinton Central. Davison is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played. Emily Long was another key player, posting four points along with five boards and three steals.
Lebanon's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Clinton Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.
Lebanon and Clinton Central should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings.
