Volleyball Recap: South Pointe Comes Up Short

South Pointe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Dreher Blue Devils, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-11, 25-10.

South Pointe's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Dreher, they are on a roll lately: they've won 18 of their last 21 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-11 record this season.

South Pointe will be playing in front of their home fans against Rock Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Dreher, they will venture away from home to face off against Camden at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
