Soccer Recap: Grant Takes a Loss

After soaring to four goals the game before, Grant was a bit more limited in their game on Wednesday. They came up short against the Big Rapids Cardinals, falling 7-0. While losing is never fun, Grant can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 282nd, while Big Rapids are ranked 60th).

Grant's loss dropped their record down to 8-8-1. As for Big Rapids, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 15-3.

Grant has already played their next match, a 6-1 defeat against Lakeview on the 16th. Big Rapids has also already played their next contest (against Tri County Area), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
