It was a proper cat-fight when Keystone faced off against Brookside on Friday. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Cardinals with a sharp 10-0 win. Considering the Wildcats have won 12 contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory (which was Keystone's third in a row) raised their record to 16-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Brookside, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-5.

Keystone wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 16-8 victory against Mapleton on the 10th. As for Brookside, they will head out to square off against Fairview at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
