Refugio and Kenedy are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2020, but not for long. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Bobcats duke it out with the Lions at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Refugio is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Skidmore-Tynan 89-28. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Meanwhile, Kenedy got the win against Three Rivers on Friday by a conclusive 73-49. The victory continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won three in a row.

The win made it two in a row for Refugio and bumps their season record up to 7-6. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 43 points. As for Kenedy, their victory bumped their record up to 13-17.

Refugio couldn't quite finish off Kenedy in their previous meeting back in January and fell 61-58. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Kenedy's DJ Williams, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 16 boards. Now that Refugio knows the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
