Volleyball Recap: Thomasville's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Thomasville had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Brooks County Trojans. The Bulldogs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Trojans, too.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Thomasville was: they took both sets by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-15.

Kamryn Shokat paced Thomasville's offense, picking up five kills. Shokat got some help from Adalee King and her 11 assists. Shokat was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Thomasville now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Brooks County, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-4.

Thomasville has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Community Christian on the 23rd. As for Brooks County, they will venture away from home to square off against Sumter County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
