Meanwhile, Benzie Central fell victim to Reed City and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Coyotes. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Huskies' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Benzie Central's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5-1. As for Suttons Bay, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.

Suttons Bay came up short against Benzie Central in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, falling 3-0. Can the Norsemen avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
