Volleyball Recap: Ramona Convent Takes a Loss

Ramona Convent was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Gabrielino Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in August.

Ramona Convent took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-13, 25-15.

Ramona Convent's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Gabrielino, their win was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-4.

Ramona Convent has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Serra on the 23rd. As for Gabrielino, they will face off against El Monte at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
