Auburn wins going away against Fairhope

The Auburn Tigers had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24 points), and they went ahead and made it eight on Friday. They took down Fairhope 61-45. For Auburn, this counts as revenge for the 51-43 loss Fairhope walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2023.
Auburn can attribute much of their success to Adam Gonia, who scored 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Antwane Daniels, who scored 12 points.
Auburn's victory bumped their record up to 16-3. As for Fairhope, their loss dropped their record down to 13-3.
Auburn won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Jackson at 4:00 p.m. on December 30, 2023. One thing working in Jackson's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
