Fayetteville Christian's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed last Friday. They blew past Northwood Temple Academy 5-0. It was an even better day for Autumn Barton as she scored four goals for her team.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when The O'Neal School challenged Northwood Temple Academy on Thursday. The Falcons were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over the Eagles. The win continues a trend for The O'Neal School in their matchups with Northwood Temple Academy: they've now won five in a row.

Fayetteville Christian pushed their record up to 10-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those five games. As for The O'Neal School, their victory bumped their record up to 7-5.

Fayetteville Christian beat The O'Neal School by a goal in their previous meeting back in March, winning 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
