Basketball Game Preview: Franklin Panthers vs. North Henderson Knights

The Franklin Panthers will take on the North Henderson Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Franklin's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight matches.

Franklin is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging an 86-59 win over Pisgah. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 27 points or more this season.

Max McClure continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 9 of 13 en route to 29 points and seven rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Franklin's points. Another player making a difference was Jack Jack Teesateskie, who went 7 of 13 on his way to 18 points.

Meanwhile, North Henderson made easy work of Tuscola on Friday and carried off an 82-56 victory.

North Henderson has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.4 points per game. As for Franklin, they pushed their record up to 8-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Franklin came up short against North Henderson in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, falling 57-53. Can Franklin avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
