Basketball Recap: Ogdensburg Free Academy Takes a Loss

Ogdensburg Free Academy lost against Potsdam back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Ogdensburg Free Academy Blue Devils took a 55-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Potsdam Sandstoners.

Potsdam found their leader in sophomore Ian VanWagner, who went 9 for 18 on his way to 25 points and eight rebounds. Brodie Delaney was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds.

Ogdensburg Free Academy dropped their record down to 1-1 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Potsdam, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Ogdensburg Free Academy and Brushton-Moira will compete for holiday cheer at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Potsdam will take on General Brown in a holiday battle at at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
