Recap: Lima Christian Saints vs. Friendship Golden Eagles
The Lima Christian Saints waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins but they left with three. They blew past Friendship 59-37. Lima Christian pushed the score to 46-21 by the end of the third, a deficit Friendship cut but never quite recovered from.
Lima Christian found their leader in underclassman Alyssa Marsh, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Marsh has scored at least a third of Lima Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lily Herring, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds and five assists.
Lima Christian is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. As for Friendship, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-7.
