Volleyball Recap: Washington Rams vs. Alhambra Lions
Washington couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 3-1 to the Alhambra Lions on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rams of the 2-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2018.
Despite the defeat, Washington had strong showings from Marlie Jones, who had 13 digs, and Jazmyn Stevenson, who had 14 kills and 14 digs.
