Soccer Game Preview: Hialeah Gardens vs. Southridge

The Hialeah Gardens Gladiators are taking a road trip to square off against the Southridge Spartans at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hialeah Gardens will be strutting in after a win while Southridge will be coming in after a loss.

Southridge is hoping to do what Hialeah couldn't on Monday: put an end to Hialeah Gardens' winning streak, which now stands at three games. Hialeah Gardens' defense stepped up to hand Hialeah a 2-0 shutout. Give the Gladiators' defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Meanwhile, Southridge didn't have quite enough to beat Homestead on Wednesday and fell 3-2. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hialeah Gardens pushed their record up to 11-5-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three matchups. As for Southridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4-1.
