Pocola waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Talihina Golden Tigers. This was payback for the Indians, who suffered a 5-4 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Pocola's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Aiden Howard, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double. That double marked the first that Howard has hit this season.

Pocola's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Talihina, their loss dropped their record down to 10-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pocola will square off against Cameron at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Talihina, they will challenge Idabel at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
