Volleyball Recap: Alpaugh Falls Despite Big Games from Aydette Ontiveros and Claribel Hernandez

Alpaugh lost against Kings Christian two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Buffalos lost 3-0 to the Crusaders. The Buffalos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-21, 25-14.

Despite the loss, Alpaugh had strong showings from Claribel Hernandez, who had eight digs and three aces, and Aydette Ontiveros, who had three digs and two aces.

Alpaugh's record now sits at 6-11. As for Kings Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-12 record this season.

Alpaugh wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Legacy Christian Academy on the 21st. As for Kings Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against Wonderful College Prep Academy on the 21st.
