Basketball Recap: Fayetteville Takes a Loss

Fayetteville lost against Rice Consolidated last Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Fayetteville Lions fell 76-68 to the Rice Consolidated Raiders.

Fayetteville's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Rice Consolidated, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-4.

Fayetteville will be home for the holidays to greet Dime Box at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Fayetteville's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six games. As for Rice Consolidated, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 50-48 defeat against Flatonia on the 13th.
