San Lorenzo made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Vallejo, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Grizzlies put the hurt on the Redhawks with a sharp  16-3 victory on Tuesday. Fans of the Grizzlies have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+  runs.
 Rogelio Hernandez made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he  struck out nine batters over  five innings while giving up  three earned runs off   four  hits. With that strong performance,  he is now averaging an impressive 5.2  strikeouts per game. He was also big at the plate,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances. He has been hot, having  posted  at least one  stolen base the last six times he's  played.
 In other batting news,  Marco Nunez was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with five  RBI, one  run,  and one  double. That's the most  RBI  he has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Emilio Vasquez, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances.
 San Lorenzo  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .619. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an  OBP of .512 or higher in 11 consecutive  games  dating back to last season.
San Lorenzo's win was  their fifth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 10-0. The  road  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Vallejo, their defeat  ended  a  four-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 5-4.
 San Lorenzo didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  9-8  loss against Lick-Wilmerding on the 2nd. As for Vallejo, they have also already played their next matchup,  a  14-3  win against Kennedy on the 2nd.
