Layton Christian Academy faced Murray in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Eagles had just enough and edged out the Spartans 2-1. Winning may never get old, but Layton Christian Academy sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

Bruno Bello and Guilherme Marques scored both of Layton Christian Academy's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Layton Christian Academy pushed their record up to 9-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Murray, their defeat was their first of the season and also makes their record 9-1.
