Football Game Preview: Southwest Valley vs. AHSTW Vikings

Southwest Valley will venture away from home to challenge the AHSTW Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Southwest Valley has given up an average of 28.2 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 46-12, which was the final score in Southwest Valley's tilt against Riverside on Friday. Southwest Valley hasn't had much luck with Riverside recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, while AHSTW put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Nodaway Valley. The Vikings blew past the Wolverines, posting a 64-0 win. The Vikings' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

The victory got AHSTW back to even at 2-2. As for Southwest Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 2-2.

Southwest Valley might still be hurting after the 35-14 loss they got from AHSTW in their previous meeting back in October of 2022. Can Southwest Valley avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
