Baseball Recap: New Bedford Comes Up Short

New Bedford lost against Whitman-Hanson Regional back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Whalers took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers.

New Bedford has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season. As for Whitman-Hanson Regional, they moved to 13-7 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

New Bedford does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Whitman-Hanson Regional, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Plymouth North at 11:00 a.m.
