Baseball Recap: Michigan Center Takes a Loss

Michigan Center was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 5-2 to the Marshall Redhawks.

Michigan Center saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Miles Stewart, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Michigan Center's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Marshall, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Michigan Center wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 10-0 defeat against Union City on the 19th. As for Marshall, they have also already played their next contest, an 11-1 victory against Sand Creek on the 19th.
