Football Game Preview: Linden Patriots vs. University Charter Trail Blazers + Official Tickets

Linden has gone a perfect 3-0 against University Charter recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Patriots will look to defend their home field against the Trail Blazers at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Linden 15, University Charter 9.2) so any points scored will be well earned.

Last Friday, Linden didn't have too much trouble with Holy Spirit Catholic as they won 30-13. The Patriots haven't had any issues with the Saints recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Sakhi Mcintosh and Maurice Chaney. Mcintosh rushed for 76 yards and two scores while Chaney rushed for 65 yards and one touchdown. That's the most rushing touchdowns Mcintosh has posted since back in September of 2024. Another big playmaker for Linden was Kareem Rembert, who returned a punt for a touchdown.

Meanwhile, University Charter blew past Marion, posting a 48-6 win. The result was nothing new for the Trail Blazers, who have now won seven matchups by 23 points or more so far this season.

Linden's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for University Charter, their win bumped their record up to 7-1.

Linden took their victory against University Charter when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 33-8 score. Do the Patriots have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Trail Blazers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
