Softball Recap: York Suburban Takes a Loss

York Suburban was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They lost 15-4 to the Dover Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-4 on April 5th.

Naomi Carrasquillo made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. That double marked the first that she has hit this season.

York Suburban's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Dover, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-8.

Coincidentally, York Suburban and Dover will both be playing West York Area the next time they take the field. The Eagles will host the Bulldogs at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Trojans will head out to face them at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
