Basketball Recap: Enterprise Picks Up 20th Straight Win at Home

There's no place like home for Enterprise, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They secured a 54-50 W over the Sparkman Senators on Saturday. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 24th, while the Senators are ranked 124th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Enterprise pushed their record up to 11-4 with the victory, which was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.8 points per game. As for Sparkman, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 13 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Enterprise Wildcats duke it out with the JAG Jaguars at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Sparkman, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Bob Jones at 7:00 p.m. on January 7th. Bob Jones will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Sparkman surely won't give up without a fight.
