Football Game Preview: Wesleyan Christian vs. Prue

Prue will square off against Wesleyan Christian at 7:00 PM on Friday. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.

There's no need to mince words: Prue lost to Davenport last Friday, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 14-60. Prue got a solid performance out of junior Jace Horton, who passed for 187 yards and 2 touchdowns; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the victory. If you haven't heard Horton's name lately, then you haven't been paying much attention: he has loomed large in their past six games.

Meanwhile, Wesleyan Christian have been struggling to pick up a win, with their matchup against Depew making it three winless games in a row. Wesleyan Christian took a serious blow against Depew, falling 0-46.

Prue were fully in charge the last time the two teams met, breezing past Wesleyan Christian 54-6. Will Prue repeat their success, or does Wesleyan Christian have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
