Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kent City). They blew past the Kelloggsville Rockets 19-0 on Saturday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-0 on Saturday.

Tanner Carlson looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

On the hitting side, Kent City got a massive performance out of Sammy Anderson, who went 1-for-2 with four stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Those four stolen bases gave Anderson a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Trevor Rawson, who earned three RBI, three runs, and three stolen bases.

Kent City has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Kelloggsville, they dropped their record down to 0-12 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Kent City will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Rockets: the pair will be back at it again later today.
