Football Recap: Cornerstone Christian Victorious

LBJ Austin came into Thursday's matchup looking for another win against Cornerstone Christian, but Jaylen McKane wouldn't allow it. The Warriors strolled past the Jaguars with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 37-21 with plenty of help from McKane, who rushed for 119 yards and one TD, and also picked up 40 receiving yards and one touchdown. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 53 yards.

LBJ Austin's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jayelen House, who threw for 185 yards and a pair of TDs. The Jaguars' leading receiver Louis Hickman was House's top target yet again, picking up 108 receiving yards and one score.
