Harding Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Paragould, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1-1.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Harding Academy face off against Heber Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be Heber Springs' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Paragould, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-1 win against West Memphis on the 11th.
