Soccer Recap: Torres Comes Up Short

Torres came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Marquez Gladiators, falling 3-0. Torres haven't had much luck with Marquez recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Torres' loss dropped their record down to 7-7-2. As for Marquez, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 13-3-2.

Coming up, Torres will square off against Elizabeth at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Marquez, they are taking a road trip to take on Dr. Maya Angelou Community at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
