Volleyball Recap: Clariden Takes a Loss

Clariden lost against Westlake Academy two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Cougars lost 3-0 to the Blacksmiths. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-4, 25-3, 25-4.

Clariden's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Westlake Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.

Clariden will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Covenant Christian at 6:30 p.m. on the 16th. As for Westlake Academy, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Fort Worth THESA on the 7th.
