Baseball Recap: Crystal Lake Central Comes Up Short

After flying high against Crystal Lake South on Monday, Crystal Lake Central came back down to earth. The Tigers came up short against the McHenry Warriors on Wednesday, falling 9-1. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Warriors: they've now lost four in a row.

Crystal Lake Central's defeat dropped their record down to 9-12-1. As for McHenry, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 19-2-1.

While Crystal Lake Central had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
