Baseball Recap: Perry Central Takes a Loss

After flying high against Mount Olive last Saturday, Perry Central came back down to earth. The Bulldogs came up short against the St. Patrick Fighting Irish on Tuesday, falling 11-0. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 1-0 to the Fighting Irish when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The defeat snapped Perry Central's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-12 record. As for St. Patrick, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-10.

While Perry Central had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
